V:Tab mono is a mobility solution that enables contactless and mobile payments to be accepted on the go. The protective case combines the Apple iPad Mini with Miura’s M020 enterprise retail payment solution. This allows retailers to engage customers in new and dynamic ways including environments such as retail, hospitality, enterprise and travel.

Driven by industry insights, the V:tab Mono incorporates unique shock absorbing protection to provide robust protection to all devices, whilst minimizing additional bulk and weight. Users wear this solution for prolonged periods. To aid usability, multiple carrying options are integrated and are fully adjustable; including a two-point shoulder strap solution and quickly adjustable centred weighted hand strap that reduces RSI issues.

As plastic had been selected as the main material for this product, it was important to consider the environmental impact and how this could be reduced. Suitable recycled polymers where identified for use in manufacturing the hand strap and shock absorbing elements, which also serve to provide a unique key aesthetical feature.
