We’re looking for a design intern who’s creative, positive, collaborative, adaptable, driven, curious, talented, cool under pressure, fresh thinking and passionate about design. If that’s you then get in touch.
Duties/Responsibilities:
» Uncover user insights to identify new product opportunities.
» Rapidly produce new product design concepts.
» Front-end product development, exploring all aspects of the design such as design thinking, user research, card/foam modelling, digital sketching, and product visualisation.
» Engage in internal and external creative sessions to explore & generate new ideas.
» Produce design visuals & videos to create desire and communicate product functions.
» Work closely with the marketing team to generate visually engaging content.
» Research new technologies, processes and materials to stimulate innovation.
» 3D modelling for product visualisation and prototyping.
» Setting up and preparing 3D prints and liaising with other supplies in our supply chain.
Required Skills/Experience:
» Undergraduate student studying product/industrial design or similar.
» Be self-motivated and a fast learner to quickly expand your core design skills.
» Strong sketching skills including digital for rapid concept generation.
» Have a clear passion for good design and sustainability.
» Core knowledge about materials, plastic and metal production processes.
» Ability to take creative direction and learn from others.
» Ability to work independently or in a team and across multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and strong organizational skills.
» Ability to use industry-standard 3D/2D software, such as Adobe CC, Solidworks/Fusion 360, Keyshot.
» Experience in creating motion graphics would be a bonus.
» Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers. Fluent in English.
» UK driving license (not essential).

» Studio-based.
